This year, 16 children that are new (never played) to the wonderful game of golf will be chosen to participate in our “Callaway Kids” at the Ridge Junior Golf Program. This is a program that is designed to replace Hook a Kid on Golf, while still keeping the same ideas and goals of introducing golf to kids and having fun along the way.

There will be a lottery drawing held on May 2nd to see which 16 children will be chosen to participate this year.

The BRGA will be covering the cost of all the necessary equipment, and if your child decides that he/she loves the game, you will have a chance to purchase the set they used for $150 at the end of the week. We are getting much better quality clubs than in previous years, that will outperform and outlast previous brands. We will be ordering Callaway Jr sets and Strata sets, which normally retail for between $299 and $399.

This is a great chance to let your child experience the great game of golf in a fun and safe environment, with instructors that truly love the game and wish to see it grow.
