Birch Ridge is full length nine hole golf course with separate tee boxes for "front" and "back" nines. When stretched out to 3,200 yards you won't find a more challenging golfing experience anywhere. Our greens are wonderfully contoured and consistently rated as the best greens in Alaska by state club professionals. Our fairways are lined by Alaskan tundra and native trees giving real meaning to the term "rough". If course conditions matter to you, Birch Ridge is the only golf course to play on the Kenai Peninsula.
You'll want to bring your camera when visiting Birch Ridge, as you will enjoy beautiful views of two active volcanoes. Holes #4, #5, #13 and #14 provide scenic vistas of Mt. Redoubt and Mt. Iliamna. The last major eruption occurred on March 22, 2009, and often you can still see steam rising from both mountain tops. Wildlife, including Alaska's famous Moose, Caribou, and Bear are frequent visitors. Please let large animals play through!
