At Birch Ridge Golf Course we are fortunate enough to have two golf Professionals. Our Head Pro is also our Superintendent and has been part of our team since 1997. Tom lives the game and in addition to being an excellent instructor; he keeps our turf in excellent shape. He is an excellent player of the game and holds most of the records on Birch Ridge; he beat his son Tim's record of 67 on 7/13/97 with a 66, then beat his own record on 6/28/63 with a 63 and tied that record again on 7/4/04.
Also in 2004, he set a new record for the back nine with a 29 (6 under par) on 10/1/04. He has won the Wells Fargo Charity All Pro Skins Game in 2003 ad 2004 and teamed up in an alternate shot format to win that event with Bryan Anderson in 2006 and Rich Lundahl in 2008.
Our Assistant Pro is Bill Engberg who is also an excellent instructor and our Asst. Superintendent. Both of our Pro's work hard to make our Greens and Turf the envy of the other golf courses in Alaska. Bill is presently also a working Golf Professional in California and works for us in Alaska in the summer and California in the winter. Bill has been with Birch Ridge since 2006.

Visit our "Irish" pub and snack bar. We feature unique sandwiches such as Hot Pastrami, Roast Beef, Turkey, Ham & Cheese and Kosher Sinai Hot Dogs served on sour dough buns and weekend surprises. We offer a wide variety of beverages, including soft drinks, beers and wine including "Guinness on Tap" along with other snacks to delight and satisfy.
